This photograph was taken in Newquay this year when I was at a surf photography workshop. We didn't see much in the way of surf but I got lucky with some nice photographs.

I am many things to many people. By day I'm a systems programmer, by not-day I am a photographer, a crocheter, a doer of tapestry and reader of whatever stuff catches my interest. Largely this tends to be science, history and geology related. I'm also quite good on economics.
I have a degree in modern languages, some postgraduate diplomas and I have started studying for a degree in mathematics and statistics. I did the later because a) I always liked maths and b) I am intrigued by the possibilities of a data visualisation.
I am very good with Photoshop particularly where it comes to photographs. I am very good at kitesurfing photographs and occasionally at surf, landscape and macro shots as well
